The cottage is located about halfway between the quiet towns of Dromiskin and Castlebellingham with easy access to the M1. It's a peaceful area and the cottage is really lovely. With a fully-equipped kitchen we spent most evenings in, cooking and watching movies. There's plenty to be done in the day though and I definitely recommend taking a trip to Newgrange! It's wonderful. There are two large bedrooms, one with a super comfortable double bed and a second with three single beds. There are three bathrooms too – one with an over bath shower and the second with a separate shower cubicle. It means you'll never have to wait to use the loo! The only discrepancy on the listing is that it states there's a washing machine. Cottage 1 doesn't have this but it wasn't the end of the world. We just did our washing when we got home, no big deal. Caroline is a great host and responded quickly to messages. On arrival we got a nice tour of the cottage and some wine to celebrate the New Year with.
My husband and 1 of our adult daughters stayed at Caroline’s lovely Irish cottage over the Christmas holiday🎄. We walked into a cozy cottage tastefully decorated for Christmas. We let her know that our plane was getting in late and she kindly had snacks, milk, coffee ☕️ and even a bowl of oranges 🍊 waiting for us. She was incredibly kind and very responsive to ALL of my questions. Caroline had a special way of making us feel right at home. We wanted an authentic experience and we got so much more! I would highly recommend! Thank you, Caroline!
We had a lovely time. It's a beautiful, quite cottage and we immediately felt at home. We managed to see some of the sights nearby, and would have loved to have stayed longer. Thanks to Caroline for everything!
We had a wonderful stay at Caroline’s place! Great location between Dublin and Belfast. The cottage feels cozy and the kitchen has everything we needed on the nights we wanted to eat in. The location is beautiful and quaint! We loved it!!
Caroline’s place was peaceful and cozy. She made sure we were comfortable and was extremely kind during our stay. She ensured our time in the cottage was perfect, especially for a kids. The area is away from the city, but close enough to make a quick trip for a night out. I highly recommend staying here for any trip, business or holiday.😊

自我介绍
My name is Caroline and I own and run Drummeenagh cottages. I really love what I do as I get to meet people from all over the world, I have made some wonderful friends over the years. Myself and my family moved to area 15 years ago, we then spent 2 years lovingly restoring the old buildings that are now our house and the cottages. We enjoy going for long walks on the local beaches and in the Cooley mountains. During the summer we go sailing and enjoy other water sports. The local pub in Annagassan has traditional music nights which we love and there are great cafes, restaurants and pubs in the local villages of Castlebellingham and Blackrock. My husband Paul and I love to cook all sorts of food and entertain our friends, often our guests.
