Excellent place to stay as a base near Plakias to explore the surrounding region. Although you may not want to, because Emanuela and Gianni have created the most beautiful and peaceful oasis in the mountains. Everything was 5 stars, amazing place and hospitality. We hope to return someday. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

2 wonderful hosts. Gianni was very responsive, and Emanuela was very sweet. She made us an excellent breakfast each morning that we were so full we didn’t even eat lunch those days. Breath taking views of the mountains and the ocean. It was very windy the time of year we came (sept) so it was a little too cold to go in the pool which was unfortunate. (We did a lot during the day so could only go in at night) Instead, we cuddled up to star gaze with some champagne that they gave us for our honeymoon. We got to see 3 shooting stars during our stay! They gave awesome recommendations for places to eat. One wasn’t on the list but Emanuela told us that morning at breakfast that it was very good, she was not wrong. It is a bit away from the cities so we had to drive an hour or 2 to get to the main cities (we didn’t mind that due to the views as we went) Even before we left we had wished we could have stayed longer. 100% would recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely stunning location, incredible views of the mountains, sea, and olive groves. The house was very well designed and felt private. The hosts were very helpful and cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning. They even helped with recommendations for a car rental. I’d recommend a smaller vehicle for navigating the narrower streets of Sellia and Crete in general. The road to get to the house is not bad and is easy to drive on.

Die Suite von Emanuela und Gianni ist einfach atemberaubend schön. Sehr hochwertige und geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Die Terrasse mit Privatpool und der atemberaubenden Aussicht ist nicht mehr zu toppen. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos, Gianni hat bereits im Voraus die Hausregeln und einige Empfehlungen zu Restaurants, Stränden etc geschickt. Das Frühstück mit tollem Ausblick war auch jedes mal ein toller Start in den Tag. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen :-)
