This hostel was spotlessly clean with incredibly friendly people. Its beachfront location was ideal, offering beautiful views and easy access to the shore. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

Iguana Surf es increíble para experimentar Tamarindo, la ubicación es perfecta justo frente a la playa, está rodeado de excelentes restaurantes, Bares y Beach Clubs. ( Muy buenas recomendaciones de los anfitriones). En las mismas instalaciones también tienen una tienda de comestibles, una tienda de surf y tours que son muy buenos me la pasé genial en el Sunset Cruise. Las instalaciones son excelentes, todo el personal es muy amable y atento a cualquier solicitud o situación que se presente.
Great spot for a great price. Everyone is super friendly and the location is super convenient to surf! Will definitely book again when in the area!

Honestly, you can get anywhere around town by foot! The center of town is just a 5-minute walk, and the beach is literally a 30-second walk across the street! You won't need a rental car or a golf cart to get around and about in town, however; we can reserve one for you if you would like to head out and go exploring:) Just ask!

Hola, hola! My brother Chad and I chose several years ago the beautiful beach of Tamarindo as our home, and we liked it so much that we want to share our little paradise with everyone! Tamarindo is a magical place with incredible people! Chad took over Iguana Surf Shop & Tours back in 2007. He then built a small vacation rental condo, Casa Gecko in 2008 and since has completed the other 5 Iguana Surf Condos over. We opened our new beachfront hotel Christmas of 2017 as an expansion to our surf vacation and tours Company, Iguana Surf, which we are proud to say has been serving the Guanacaste Region as the #1 Surf & Tour Company since 1989. We have an amazing team, The Iguana Crew whom all have a true passion for sharing our love of this country with other travelers and feel truly blessed to be able to do so.
