Fantastic stay in a beautiful flat. Perfect location for the seafront, restaurants and shops. Lots of space, clean, and had everything we needed for a family stay.

I spent two nights at Vivien's place with my mum and 4 month old baby and it was absolutely perfect for us. The apartment is bright, clean and modern, ideally located just 5 minutes' walk from Margate train station and with a bus stop right outside the building. The beach is also just a short walk away and there are many shops, including a convenience store and Tesco express, on the same street. Vivien kindly provided a cot bed for my baby to use and there was also a high chair, washing machine and lift available, making the apartment ideal for anyone travelling with an infant. Vivien was a responsive and helpful host, providing clear information and directions before and during the stay. I especially appreciated Vivien's flexibility with check in and checking out at times that were convenient to us. Thank you for a wonderful stay! I would recommend the apartment to anyone coming to Margate.

Brilliant flat and a wonderful host. Vivien really went out of her way to make it easy for us. We have a baby and she had all the essentials saving us lugging them around. Spot on for families.

Lovely spacious apartment. Very clean and has everything you need. Got left milk and bread which is a lovely gesture. Vivien is really friendly and easy to get hold of. We left early but could have stayed longer if needed the day of check out.

We had a great stay at Vivien’s place. It was perfect for walks along the beach to some pretty bays and also to walk into Margate for the galleries, shops and restaurants. It was our first trip with our baby and the flat had everything that we needed - and more. It was spotless too.

Hi I'm Vivien. I live in London with my family, and our crazy chocolate Labrador. I work in education, and I love art and music, swimming and the seaside. My family and I fell in love with Margate in 2017, and were lucky enough to find an apartment in an ideal location near the town and the beach. Since then we've really enjoyed furnishing the space and making it our own. We love staying in our apartment at any time of year. It's wonderful to be able to drive here (or take a train), on a Friday evening after a busy week, and be walking on the beach in less than two hours. Being able to get away so easily, to such a beautiful and relaxing place, is an absolute joy - and a real stress-buster. One of my favourite things is taking a sunny (or rainy) walk along the promenade, to have brunch at the Bus Cafe, followed by a trip to the Turner Gallery. The occasional treatment or massage at Haeckel's, or a bike ride along the coast, soon restore my health and energy levels. A weekend in our comfy apartment, and out and about in Margate, is the perfect way to recharge my batteries. And a whole week is even better... We love our apartment, and we like to share it with family and friends. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed, and hope you come to like Margate and the Kent Coast as much as we do.
