We chose Eric's Rustica Ranch because of its proximity to the Spanish Moss Trail - it is, literally, a couple of hundred feet away - and we used the trail every single day for walking the dog, riding the bike, and just strolling along. What we didn't realize was how perfectly convenient it was to many other things that were important to us. Like the YMCA which I needed for PT, like the Cypress Wetlands which my husband went to every day for avian photo-ops, like the Beaufort Library where we bought used books, like Publix where we shopped, like the bike rental place, and on and on. We loved the huge back deck, the total privacy of the backyard, the wonderful vintage and eclectic furniture, the king size bed, the big shower in the master bathroom, the flowering shrubs in every corner of the yard, and how safe the neighborhood was. Not to mention Eric's generous provisions of paper products, cleaning products, and other items.

We all enjoyed our 10 day stay at Eric's house. Though a little bit shabby, the house is extremely comfortable, and the location is excellent for easy access to desired destinations. A few things could be improved, such as better meal-prep equipment, a railing for the three brick entry steps, and a grab-bar for the walk-in shower. The music-themed decor was interesting, and the phonograph and huge LP record colletion were enjoyed.

We enjoyed our stay at Eric's Beaufort home. The fenced yard was perfect for our pups. The home was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more for a like home comfy stay. Eric was very quick to respond to any questions and was a great host. We would love to stay again when we are in the area. We enjoyed biking the Spanish Moss Trail and took our dogs swimming at a pet friendly beach in Port Royal.
