This review is to help future guests. Me and my wife weren’t big fan of it, we ended up finding a different hotel for the night. 1 - Location is alright for lake and Mountain View but real task is finding the place.( not worth the price) It was impossible to find it. Host was kind when we finally met him but it would help tremendously if he had written a clear instructions how to get to the place. Very unclear instructions on finding the place. ( I would suggest looking Fuji homestay in maps) if you plan on booking. 2- Host was notified few hours with arrival time but yet fail to communicate and get the place ready. Room was 6 by 6 box with 2 beds. Felt very confined with low ceiling, hard to breath. Room wasn’t ready, pillow were missing. Room was very bare! 3- The pics are inaccurate, probably would help uploading pic of the place including bathroom and the place guest would spending. Me and wife had a very unpleasant experience.

We were a bit skeptical since it was a very rustic experience and the access was a bit of a hike, but it was all worth it! Firstly Jeeban was extremely helpful and responsive! The food he provided was tasty, affordable, healthy and very wholesome. The view was to die for specially early morning and sunset. The stay was modest yet very comfortable! He made us feel right at home and offered flexible check in and check out! Although we didn’t take the private access into the lake since it was a steep way down, once we hit the lake it very quickly became the highlight of our trip. You could get into the water, swim and chill, let jeeban know when you’ll be heading back 30 mins prior and he would keep warm meal ready. It’s was refreshing to be away from the touristy parts of Pokhara and soak in the underrated local ambience. I would definitely be coming back again at Jeebans. Worth every penny.

It was really nice and quiet place to stay. it is not really the place on the map. better to contact jeeban before arriving:-). the Begnas lake is so nearby. the family of jeeban is adorable. we've good meals. just 30-45 min by bus to Pokhara. perfect for us.

Very peaceful rustic cottage with view of beautiful lake. We were really appreciative of the mosquito nets- first time we’ve gotten them in Nepal! Family was super welcoming. Definitely recommend Jeeban’s place!
