Through the years my wife and I have stayed in a number of places, but this one clearly stands out as by far the most remarkable one. Its special allure derives from a number of factors. 1) Majestic view. Breath-taking. Hills and valleys all round, and the sea beyond. It's like you are flying on an airplane, having a bird's eye view. 2) Large spaces. Both inside and out. There is a vast terrain and landscape, vast premises that belong all to yourself, to the estate, large spaces inside the house, a consistent feeling of spaciousness and largesse all over. My wife and I have walked within the premises for hours, descending the track up to the nearby forest and collecting oranges from the trees. As I remember now this walk, it gives me a feeling of simplicity and natural beauty. 3) Beauty indeed. Not just the landscape, the sunrise or the starry sky. The interior of the house also is decorated fabulously, with fine, elegant works of art. The floor, the furniture, the clay birds flying above your head while sleeping, all made a statement: non-stylized beauty, reflecting a genuine taste. 4) Luxuriousness. This is something that generally fails to move me, and yet in this case luxury gave a feeling of naturality, non-artificiality, that made me not only accept but also humbly appreciate it. 5) Cleanliness, tidiness, order. Everything is at its right place, totally clean and shiny, an overall feeling of care permeates, that makes you feel this is as good as if it were your own place, one you love and took care for yourself. Both I and my wife only have one regret. That we couldn't spend more time there. My wife was actually smiling and saying that I myself may leave but she is remaining. If we had known how special this place is, in its elegance, luxuriousness and at the same time simplicity, in its natural and artistic beauty, we would have certainly arranged to stay longer. And yet, we are still there somehow. Still walking hand in hand, on the main road of the premises, silent, stopping now and then to observe the moon. Lost within a world that is normally not part of our environment, and yet, as I feel, signifies a psychological, even spiritual, inner landscape.

Olea is very special! For all fans of nature and remoteness: you found a gem! Olea lies on top of a mountain in the middle of the olive fields, the view is breath taking, the silence and atmosphere can only be described as mind blowing and the apartment was designed very aesthetically and fully equipped! From the little Village with great restaurants(Olive Grill, Saga) you drive up 4,7km on serpentine roads to the house where you are welcomed by the most sweetest and kind 2 dogs we ever met! You see lots of animals and the air has the freshest and sweetest scent! We enjoyed our stay a lot, its close to nice beaches (15-20min), cute villages and we made trips to Mani where we walked a lot. Eleni is available for all questions and we were welcomed by a nice basket of treats. All the people we were in contact were very nice and kind. We would definitely come back!
