It's hard to put into words how special this stay was thanks to Erica and Claudio's incredible home and hospitality. It was truly a dream come true to be able to visit Umbria with our family, including two newborn twins. The house was lovely with unbelievable views of the Umbrian countryside from every window. Someone noted in an earlier review, but the photos don't fully do it justice. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. One with a queen bed and adjoining bathroom. The other with a king bed and a bathroom next door. There are two twin beds upstairs with a bathroom. AC in all bedrooms worked great, which was crucial because it was unusually hot (it seemed) for June - over 100 degrees some days. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and Erica kindly stocked it with stuff we required from the first night like milk, bread, fruit, and wine :). Dishwasher, microwave, oven, washer/dryer all worked great. The pool is large and was sparkling clean daily thanks to diligent work by the wonderful caretaker on the property. We loved lounging under the pergolas and ate outdoors every night (though there are mosquitos to watch out for). Erica was unbelievably welcome and helpful. She really thought of everything! We were traveling with our first children, 2 month old twins, and we don't speak Italian. It would not have been possible without her preparation communicating with me weeks beforehand about the bassinet and stroller and pack n play that we relied upon daily. She arranged housekeeping 3x week (we paid extra) as well as meals at home. One of the highlights of the trip was having Chef Carlo come and prepare dinners for us. He brought vegetables from his garden and cooked on the outdoor barbecue (more of an asado) and they were remarkable. Some of the best food we've ever eaten, cooked and served by a true gentleman. It was nothing short of a magical visit - definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had - and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Loveliest couple that go out of their way to make your stay comfortable, unique and special. They truly love the area and know it well. Super super place so well done and quiet airconditioning, lovely place to unwind and relax. We absolutely loved it.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. The house is well equipped, well maintained and is located in the most beautiful setting. The views are amazing. We were looking for some quietness and time to relax and this house was the perfect spot for that. Although there is a lot to visit and you can easily drive up to the historical towns of Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio we stayed a few days in the house as well. Just relaxing at the pool or using the Turkish bath. There are enough chairs at the pool and there is always a place in the shadow you can relax at. We stayed here in July 2021 and temperatures were quite high. The pool was the perfect refreshment but also in the house it was not too hot. We could also use the air conditioning to cool down the bedrooms when it was really too warm to sleep. We went to some local restaurants that Erica recommended and had some great dinners. Also Chef Carlo came to cook one night and that was a great experience. Another evening we used the pizza oven and although we need a lot more practicing, the ambiance was great! The house is also very clean and we loved the fact that in between there was a lady coming to the house to freshen up the bathrooms and kitchen. All in all we had a great time and felt save in corona times. I would recommend this house absolutely!

We really enjoyed the week-long stay here. Lovely villa with lots of space and all the amenities. The pool was large, clean and perfect temperature. The views are lovely. Good shops and restaurants are only a short drive away.
