It's important to read the arrival descriptions - the maps will lead you astray and the addresses are not in sequential order. But once you find it - it's a total gem! I chose this place to recover from a surgery because of the multiple decks, comfortable lounge chairs, and cozy charm. All my expectations were met and some exceeded. Loved all the unique characteristics and homey vibe. The skylights made all the difference in making it feel like I was outside while being inside. There was a lot of personality and seeing the growth chart in the master bathroom door jam warmed my heart every time! I felt very comfortable and happy there - much healing occurred. Nearly everything was thought of, including easy to grab flashlights during a power outage - which did occur during our visit and was resolved by morning. And I was messaged by the hosts to see if everything was ok by morning - very responsive. If there was one improvement to add, it would be more lamps and end tables.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the space and the peaceful redwoods. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Great location, short drive to gorgeous hikes.

This is my third stay and I enjoy it more and more each time the house has tremendous character and just being there even if you aren’t able to get out because of the rain, it will feel like your world apart from every day activities. I love all of the art scattered throughout the house. There are many outdoor areas to relax in the grounds are great for hiking and he has a spa area with a hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower. Who could ask for more it really is a wonderful, wonderful place.

This is a truly magical spot. Surrounded by lush greenery, the skylights throughout the place bring in sunlight and glimpses of the beautiful foliage and sometimes even birds soaring overhead. The interior is warm and spacious, with a well-appointed kitchen and loads of amenities. You could easily spend days just cycling through the sauna, jacuzzi, massage chair, and back again! The washer and dryer are modern and the bookshelves are stocked with great picks. I especially appreciated that all of the decor throughout the house and ceramics in the kitchen had personality—no bland beige vibe here. Grateful for a peaceful stay and would highly recommend this spot to anyone.

Lovely and cozy spot in the woods. Luke is a very attentive host and his home has all the features and amenities you need to hole up for some time away. If you don’t like the sterile feel of “built to rent” vacation homes, this spot is for you.
