If you’re looking for a great little get away with great walks and beautiful surroundings, look no further. This is definitely a little gem. The place is so peaceful, relaxing and comfortable and as described. Nick was a great host and very welcoming on our arrival. Highly recommend staying here.

Booked this at late notice and found the whole process stress free. Nick met us as we arrived and took us through to the property and spent some time talking to us about local restaurants and places of interest. Nick was lovely and the property was as described, well kept and so peaceful. Even the chickens spent some time visiting with us. The property is pretty central to all the places you might want to visit while in the area, we would highly recommend and hope to return soon

A lovely little hideaway - just what I was looking for. The description and photos were very accurate - I knew there wouldn’t be a good phone signal or super fast wifi, in fact that was one of the things that attracted me to it! The heating was effective and the bed in particular very cosy. The kitchen has everything you need for simple meals and there’s a great list of restaurant recommendations for something more elaborate (shout-out to Mr Chong in Disley!) Nick, the landlord, is very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area - he had some useful tips. It’s an amazing location - nice walks from the house or endless more within a 20-30 minute drive. I strongly recommend this place if you want a short break away from it all and are happy with simple necessities. My only suggestion for improvement would be a little two-seater sofa, which would be a bit cosier than the (very comfy!) armchairs.
