We have been here the fourth time and what should we say... The place is just beautiful! It is quiet, far away from any touristic hotspots, the perfect place to relax and calm down. After two weeks in a hammock with seaview, there is nothing that can bother you anymore (except for leaving the hammock). The houses are all beautiful, always super clean when we arrive and the housekeepers who live a few steps up the road are super friendly and adorable! Also it's an animal paradise. The dogs were a huge joy during our stay and watching the chicken walking over the grass is as good as meditation. We will be back in August and are already looking forward to it!

My boyfriend and me had a perfect stay at Susannas ecovilla. It is such an idyllic surrounding and place with all the animals (dogs, cats, hen, birds, even deer) and the sea and beach so so close. We loved how thoughtful and in balance with nature the ecovilla was built, besides getting to know the historic origin of this place. We even had an own little garden with a hammock which we loved a lot. Also, Susanne, her daughter and the housekeeper Truta were very kind and welcoming. It is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and calm down. Although we did some touristic and other activities, I could have stayed at the villa throughout our whole stay due to its calming and beautiful atmosphere. We definitely would love to come back and really can recommend it to others who seek for a calming stay on an island close to the sea.

This review is for the Arancio Room. Also see my other review for more details on the area, as we stayed in two different rooms (we switched due to availability as we absolutely wanted to stay longer :) ). The Arancio Room is ideal for a couple or any other two persons. Ask Susanna for single or double mattresses! The room is in the straw bale house with a fully equipped kitchen and a clean bathroom with shower. Everything is decorated in the most lovely way. You can sit outside and due to the floor plan of the building you have your own "patio" in the entrance, guaranteeing you absolute privacy and the possibility to sit outside and have your breakfast, meals or watch the stars at night. Walk to the shore in 2 minutes...if you are a nature lover and search something special, quiet and super beautiful Glikorizo (as the place is called) is a must! We send a huge Thank You to Susanna and Teuta for bringing this place to life, keeping it up and making it available for guests!

Glikorizo ist der perfekte Ort, um sich zu entspannen und entschleunigen. Ich habe mich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist schön und geschmackvoll ausgestattet, mit allem, was benötigt wird. Das Raumklima ist durch die ökologische Bauweise ausgesprochen angenehm. Die kleine Küche bietet eine Kochgelegenheit und hat genug Platz. Die Fotos entsprechen absolut den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Susanna ist eine freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeberin, jederzeit ansprechbar und offen. Zur Begrüßung gab es u.a. eine Flasche Wein. Generell war der Kontakt mit Susanna sofort sehr unkompliziert. Ich habe mich bei ihr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Gegend ist ein Traum. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier absolut richtig. Der Strand liegt gleich hinter dem Haus und ist nur vom Grundstück aus erreichbar. Man hört nur das Meer und die Vögel zwitschern. Ich werde mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.
