The Old Scout Hut is extremely comfortable, well designed and well equipped. The open plan design felt really spacious for four adults and the kitchen has everything needed, although we didn't cook eating out instead. The house was immaculate, tasteful and practical without being cluttered. There is lots to do in Sidmouth and scrambling around on the beach and walking around the rock pools was great. There are loads of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. Mocha was good for coffee and breakfast, and The Bowd Inn, about two miles out of Sidmouth does a fabulous carvery and is a comfortable, traditional thatched Inn.

We loved the accomodation which had been sypathetically converted. We had everything we needed and more. The house was spotless on arrival. We would book again.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Ruth's place. The house was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and super comfortable. it's had everything and more for our stay. A lovely welcome basket of bread and juice was a perfect treat. The house was minutes walk to the beach and high street with easy access to shops and restaurants. It was easy to find with the directions given and check in was very straightforward. would definitely recommend
