This detached property is quietly located in Brancaster village and within easy reach of the beach, making it an ideal retreat for a fun family summer holiday or short gastro break with friends, With The Ship pub/restaurant just a 10 minute walk away and the renowned White Horse pub/restaurant and family-friendly Jolly Sailors pub/restaurant in neighbouring Brancaster Staithe, you're spoilt for choice on where to dine out for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Although, with so much local produce and freshly caught local fish from Brancaster Staithe available, you'd be hard pressed to resist the temptation to dine at home. Additional Information Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). There is an EV charger at the property (small additional charge).

The house and location were great and plenty of facilities at the house. Could do with more electric plugs and rubber bath mat for a very slippery bath. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable and bedding fresh. We would book again.

Brancaster is known for its simply stunning beach. It stretches for miles backed by gentle sand dunes and the famous links golf course of The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club.
Seals bask on the creek edges and children can safely paddle in the tidal lagoons. The tide goes out a long way revealing the shipwreck of the SS Vina (beware of strong tides and do not venture out!) The sand is perfect for sandcastles and picnics. Kite surfers provide exciting entertainment on windy days.
Traditional ice-cream and lollies can be had from the booth on the beach!
Wildlife along the coast is abundant and accessible, Marsh Harriers wheel overhead along with Avocets, Oyster Catchers and Terns.
A trip would not be complete without tasting the famous mussels, in season when there is an 'R' in the month.
Parking is a few yards from the beach and anyone who walks that little bit further will be rewarded with their own private stretch of sand!
The Ship public house has recently been reopened under Chris Couborough The Flying Kiwi Chef to great reviews.
Head to the neighbouring sailing village of Brancaster Staithe where children will love the popular family pub/restaurant The Jolly Sailors with its pizza oven and ice cream kiosk and outdoor play area. For more grown-up dining, the renowned White Horse offers unrivalled marsh views and fabulous food and wine. Dine al fresco in the warmer months and watch the sun go down from the terrace or on cooler evenings reserve a seat in the conservatory by the window. Shopping is in nearby Thornham, Burnham Market or Burnham Deepdale. And of course all of the pretty villages along this coast are in easy reach.
