A peaceful countryside retreat with beautiful views over the rolling fields. The apartment is well fitted with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming with a lot of local knowledge and some very helpful recommendations.

We enjoyed ourselves so much last time that we had to come back and it was just as good. We met Bex and her lovely family this time as they were house sitting. As always we received quick and accurate feedback, a friendly welcome, a tasty food pack and a personally guided tour of the Lake to feed the swans with our grandchildren!!

We spent four very comfortable nights here. Tess and David, who live in the rest of the property, were extremely hospitable and most welcoming from the moment we arrived. Lots of additional unexpected supplies, with more than enough for an adequate breakfast. The standard of fixtures and fittings is very high and everything was immaculately clean. The view from the balcony is amazing and we were encouraged to walk around the rest of the garden and to use another seating area with even more extensive views. The property is incredibly quiet and peaceful - an ideal location for a restful few days with lots of houses and gardens to visit !
