Bruno’s place is a real find for the right travelers. If you are looking for a moderately priced secluded location right on the water this unit is ideal. The room was comfortable with a nice big bed and two single beds. The outdoor kitchen is a really nice space too. Bruno was super helpful and responsive. His two dogs were fun and we even got a few visits from the local donkeys. Overall it was a really fun stay.

The beach was disappointing. But when we went to other beaches on the island they also had seaweed. Could be the time of the year. Great to have kayaks to go to Pinel Island. Bruno and his wife made us so welcome and they checked with us on a regular basis to see if we had any concern or needed anything Always helpful. We would not hesitate to book again.

We spent almost 8 days at this quiet, beautiful property, and if u looking for the quietness ( from big cities NY, Boston, Chicago…) this is your place. My partner could do all of his work in the mornings ( excellent Wi-Fi)and I could enjoy kayaking, snorkeling while he was working.Also it’s very close to the most beautiful beaches ( le Petit, Ance Marcel, and pinel island. ) Some days we ate diner at the property ( bought groceries at local SuperU, (all French delicacies ) And some days we ate at the Grand Case ( make reservations in advance) Few moments with mosquitoes situation 🤷‍♀️😩can’t be avoided if you want to be closer to the water, but it’s doable with mosquito prevention. Get ready for the friendliest and smartest 🐕 dogs 🐩 to be your pets for the time you will be there!!!! They will be your guardians in the water , waiting after late dinner, or stormy night!!! All over quite, nice and no fuss A Place to spend precious 7 days, before coming to busy life we live !!!!

We had a FANTASTIC stay with Bruno and his wife Caroline. They were BEYOND helpful with all of our questions and needs. The space is exactly as pictured. We used the private pool daily during our five day stay. Having kayaks available for our use daily was also so amazing. Their two dogs Hera and Helios we the best. They went swimming and kayaking with us. They kept us company all day and were an absolute joy to have around. I have no doubt you will LOVE your time here. I couldn’t recommend staying here more. We will definitely stay here again on our next rip back to St. Martin. A few tips if you choose to stay here: rent a car. There are restaurants and stores in walking distance. However, the island is very small(25 mins end to end) and you can get enjoy your stay with a car. There is a grocery store called Super U a 5 mins car ride away. You can get everything(food, spirits, cleaners, pool/water supplies, pillows, shoes etc.) here and at reasonable prices. Lots of yummy French products too. Do not shop on the Dutch side near the airport. There are many other shoppes here you can find most anything. ATMs. There is also a laundry mat. We washed a lot of things by hand and used the drying rack. It’s always nice to travel with clean clothing so we did use it once. It is a true tourist trip and we made this mistake. Talk to locals to find ATV and boat trip tours. We found a great catamaran tour and ATV just by chatting up a local. You should carry cash. A lot of places do not accept cards. Caroline has an entire store of souvenirs at wholesale price so definitely grab all your gifts with her. Hercule’s creole restaurant just down the street two mins was the best food we ate while visiting. I would suggest stopped at road side stands and quaint looking stops. The food is truly delicious most everywhere. True island vibes all around so get comfy with chatty new friends and long wait times after you placed your order. A lot of places we stopped insisted we eat first and could go get cash and come back to pay. Everyone is so accommodating and trusting, it was so pleasant to not rush around or sweat the small stuff. You can use US dollars anywhere but the Dutch side uses Florins and Euros on the French side. Brush up on your French and be sure to greet everyone with a good morning or good afternoon before asking for anything. The only things we didn’t enjoy during our stay were the incessant mosquitoes. They can’t be avoided so be prepared with lots of sweat proof bug spray and citronella candles. We brought some but they are available at all grocery stores. They need to stay lit, especially if you plan on cooking most of your meals. Also, Apple Maps does not work here. You have to use Google Maps. Thanks again to the best hosts we have ever stay with!

Bruno and his wife are wonderful hosts, with a beautiful beachfront home that is perfect for relaxing and letting all of life’s troubles drift away. Their two dogs are so friendly and make amazing companions whether you are sitting by the beach, or hiking the nearby trails. There is great food close by, including a little French bakery that we went to several times for breakfast. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in St. Martin, just remember the pack sun screen and bug spray.
