The location and views are spectacular. The property is a ranch, set in the beautiful foothills of Alberta. The rooms overlook rolling hills with fertile farm fields, and the mountains are visible on the horizon. The host is friendly and attends to every detail.

This was our second stay. We were the guests briefly without hot water from last year, but Gael was so accommodating and her acreage was so peaceful, comfortable with stunning views that we had to come back. There's a cute little kayak pond, and her $5 breakfasts hit the spot; be sure to confirm the night before. I'm baffled she's not a SuperHost because she seems like one.

That was the worst experience ever, be aware you may be kicked off the place if the Host don't like what you say even it being according to the AirBnb policy. My wife and I have stayed in several AirBnbs around the world we picked Gael's place as it looked nice and cozy as we went to the West of Canada for a day of work and took a few extra free days to chill and explore around on our first time in Alberta. Long Story Short we stayed at Gael's place for 6 nights, as soon as we stepped in for checkin at the time we have arranged the place wasn't ready it's okay but Gael was clearly stressed and not friendly, anyway she was helpful with some tips about the area but always too busy and never friendly, we were the only guests at this moment so she hasn't provided us the room's keys until we asked for it, and then we noticed she has entered into our room at least twice while we were away without prior noticing us, the moment we mentioned it to her she said it's her property and she can go in anytime she wants to "cleaning, opening windows or other stuff". Well, it's against AirBnb rules but at first it didn't seem a big deal but at the last day of our stay we have previously arranged to checkout at 7pm as our flight in Calgary was about to board at midnight so we wanted to rest on the last day of our trip and go calmly to the airport, so here it's what makes this the most frustrating experience and ruined our day... In the morning of our checkout day she came up with the news that we had to checkout the room at 11am and stay in the great room (in property) no longer than 1pm, on this conversation she had her son along and we said that's not what we arranged and have paid for which was staying until 7pm so we explained that we didn't want to stay the whole day in the airport our going somewhere else with our equipment (cameras/gear/expensive stuff) so we want either stay with was arranged our having our money back to go somewhere else and then she was talking to us very ironic, mocking and making up stuff, not enough her son aggressively approach very close to me while I was seated and said that it's her property and we were leaving the place at 1pm and there was no more talking, so a bit later they nocked the door and made us leave, it's a Farm in the middle of no where we were very upset my wife was crying a lot we did not feel safe, it was our trip's last day we did not want to take any risk and we just left. It might be a single case, our most of other guests just stayed 1 or 2 nights like the others that went there while we were in place, anyway it doesn't matter we felt threatened and it was heartbreaking, that's not the way to deal with any people, later on at the moment we were leaving Gael's son admitted saying that sometimes his mom can be hard to deal with and that she was going through some bad stuff, again it doesn't matter I would never deal with anyone like that, we never felt so frustrated ever traveling. You must know before booking!
