The Blue Rock Ranch was the perfect weekend getaway! Our hosts were so wonderful, friendly and responsive to questions and comments throughout our stay. We very much enjoyed the amazing views of the properly, the puppy companions and the extra touches that Emma and her family did to make our stay pleasant. We hope we can visit again soon and can’t recommend enough for those looking for a peaceful escape into the foothills!

The cabin was located on a hilltop overlooking the foothills and mountains in the distance. The host was super helpful and friendly. It was a perfect weekend away from the city to unplug. We wanted quiet and privacy. That's exactly what we got. Sitting on the deck we watched the sunset, sipping wine with great views of the valley. There were horses and a friendly white dog - we called him bear - who kept us company on the deck. The cabin was super comfy, well appointed, with lots of room. The kitchen was great for cooking our meals. Very nice touch were the fresh eggs from the farm and other supplies provided by the host. My wife and I wanted a quiet, peaceful, unplugged weekend away from the city and BlueRock was perfect. Highly recommended if you want to experience a slice of Alberta country life away from the city and enjoy the outdoors.

This cabin is an absolutely incredible find. The pictures don’t do it justice, it was so cute and cozy and clean, stocked with everything we needed and surrounded by acres of beautiful forest with a view of the mountains. The host Emma went above and beyond for us, she gave us fresh eggs from her chicken coop, let us hold her brand new puppies and pet her horses. She picked us up in her truck and took us up the steep driveway because I have a 2-wheel drive car. Everyone was very welcoming and we had privacy. There was lots to do on the property. They have a fire pit and a grill, both of which we used. The whole experience was just perfect. We will be coming back!

My husband and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Emma's place and it was great! Very quiet and peaceful with God’s beautiful creation all around us!! Sophie and Emma were great hosts who treated us so well and made our anniversary extra special with some treats and a bottle of wine. Such beautiful property and we can't wait to bring our grandkids to see the horses and the puppies 😍!
