Absolutely lovely little house, set right in the middle of town for river walks, pubs, restaurants, train station etc., but close enough for all the beautiful gorge walks surrounding Knaresborough. Jan was very flexible about us arriving a little early. left us some lovely little treats, milk,bread,eggs ect. everywhere was lovely and clean. could not find fault. we had an amazing 2 days. highly recommended .

On entering the property it felt lovely and cosy, the quirkiness of the staircase and fireplace added to the character of the building. I’ve never had a log burner before but loved it on the cooler evenings during our stay. The kitchen was larger than expected with everything you could expect to kit us out during our stay. I like to cook and I had every utensil I needed which is not always catered for when staying in other properties. The welcome pack on arrival was also very much appreciated after the drive to be able to have a nice hot drink to settle in with was a perfect touch. Lovely bathroom!!! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!! I would highly recommend to anyone considering the property.

We had a lovely time in Knaresborough.Once we stepped in to Old Bakery the atmosphere was beautiful. In the kitchen,there was bread, eggs and porridge ready for us and I felt very welcomed.The building is 200 years old but kitchen, bathroom worked perfectly fine. Fireplace and stairwell looked stunning. I Highly recommend to stay in this beautiful place.
