A really enjoyable place to stay. Lovely house to come back to at end of a busy day. Perfectly positioned to explore Yorkshire dales, and drive across to coast as well as visit York. Great well equipped house. Would definitely choose to stay here again should we return to the area

The house was really well presented and spotlessly clean with a nice outside space too. It was beautiful decorated, warm, and welcoming, and surprising peaceful for a town house on the main road. There was some work being done to the exterior of the property but Jessie warned us of this in plenty of time and was careful to ensure we were comfortable that the exterior didn’t (at the current time) look like the listing, but it didn’t impact on our stay at all. The welcome pack was really helpful to introduce us to the area and Jessie had left us some sweet treats from the local bakery, which was really kind. We came with young children and the local attractions such as the castle, Mother Shipton’s cave and Fountain’s Abbey made for a perfect few days over the Easter break.
