We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pieter’s lovely house in Lajares. The location is great. We enjoyed hikes up the volcano and walks to the local bars/restaurants. Pieter was an excellent host — very communicative, friendly and helpful. It is a serene, beautiful and comfortable place to call home for a week. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay - the house had a tranquil feeling as soon as we went in, and this lasted all through our time there. The view of the volcano changes with the time of day and the light - we took a late afternoon walk up it, which we fully recommend - the sunset was spectacular! A headtorch is needed as the dark night comes on quickly. The pool and all facilities were perfect for us, as was the location (we’ve always stayed in El Cotillo, but with a car it’s no problem to pop back and forth to the lagoons). Our stay was enhanced by a very sweet and friendly girl cat who visited us and seemed to like having some company! We would definitely recommend a stay here - Pieter is a friendly and communicative host who was flexible with our check in time.

Pieter is a wonderful host. He was very responsive and helpful, giving us recommendations for where to eat and trips we could take. The house is stunning, as is the location. The architecture and interior sits beautifully in the volcanic landscape. The heated pool was a great bonus. It’s easy to see why this place books up a year in advance!

We loved our stay at Pieters place. Pieter welcomed us when we arrived (earlier than expected but were able to check in) and gave us a tour of the property. The villa itself was beautiful, well appointed and close to some local amenities. The views from the living room are simply amazing. I would certainly recommend this property and would love to visit again in the future.
