We had an amazing time staying at this wonderful little cabin. When we went, roads were completely accessible.
My husband and I spent four nights here and absolutely loved it. I couldn’t believe how quiet and private it was. Favorite parts were sitting on the back porch looking out at the meadow and listening the the stream burble next to the side of the cottage. It’s worth the slightly longer drive from Mineral for the quiet. There’s even a lovely trail in the forest we only checked out on our last night.
Cozy little cabin. Perfect for two people or like us with a little baby. The heater is very efficient. Joseph and Jillian are great hosts. We would suggest to do grocery shopping in Chester rather than Minor. If you love the outdoors you gotta stay at this place!!! Love to come back.
This place is an awesome value and located perfectly both for Lassen adventures and Chester is a short drive away for lake activities.
This is an excellent rustic retreat! Cozy cabin, conveniently located near the SW gate to Lassen National Park. Would highly recommend a getaway here.

We’re Jillian and Joe, along with our sidekicks Sonora + Ayla, the brains and the brawn behind Mill Creek Resort. Since 2017, we have been pouring every ounce of our love and energy into this space. Nestled in 12 acres of cedars and towering pines on the south of Lassen Volcanic NP, we offer 9 year-round cabins, along w/ 16 campsites, 4 glamping sites, + 8 RV spots. We hope your path leads you here to experience all that Lassen has to offer.
