Such an amazing place to be. Very relaxing and around a beautiful landscape and nature.
Great place for a relaxing short trip. Cute and enjoyable decor, nice views , farm atmosphere and small town vibes. We really enjoyed staying at The Barracks. P.S The breakfast was fantastic, the bread and yogurt tasted like heaven.
A rare, hidden gem of a characterful, cosy, simple luxury & hospitable place to escape to! Full of interesting history, atmospherics in every direction and of course the wonderful environs of the surrounding villages & vineyards. Situated on one of Australia's oldest colonial working farms, The Barracks provides boutique accommodation on a unique heritage site. Four suites have been beautifully restored to provide elegant comforts in the same space where convicts and farmhands worked and toiled over 150 years ago. Each suite allows guests to enjoy the same views of sweeping hillsides and colonial buildings in air conditioned comfort. For those cool evenings, at the push of a button, a restored fireplace is available to warm the sitting room.
