Beautiful property as described and the porch is an amazing view. Host was extremely responsive when contacted. Eric was quick to report the power outage for us. The main drawback was the neighbors’ dogs barking throughout the night. They were so loud that the barking kept 4 adults awake. The amenities were nice and as described, but the main bath tub stopper didn’t work (so no baths) and shower head could not be adjusted (just a hole in the wall). Overall a great space and beautiful property for the cost, but the dog noise will keep us from returning (we live in a city and are used to noises—these dogs were on a whole other level of noisy).

This cabin was perfect for a family getaway. There were rooms for everyone, a beautiful wrap-around porch and a great big table for everyone to eat together. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with all the linens and kitchen equipment/ staples. We loved the large property and the host provided plenty of games for inside or outside. The grounds and hot tub were very clean and well-kept. Although it was close enough to “downtown” to make easy trips for meals or entertainment, we stayed in the cabin the whole time, finding plenty to do on the property. Our kids have decided that they want to come back every year and we have no arguments!

Stayed here before 2 other times .. love this cabin.. secluded.. clean.. lots of space.. missed the hammock .. but had a great trip overall!

Pros: Cabin was beautiful & surroundings were peaceful. Cabin was easy to find. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the games and the hottub. Cons: Keyless entry is impossible to lock. Took over 10 tries every time to get door locked. Make sure you are prepared for extremely hard water. Soap would not lather it was so hard. There are no helpful amenities in the house. We had to supply our own paper towels, foil, baggies, ketchup, mayo, coffee, coffee creamer, coffee filters, ice upstairs, etc. Expect nothing extra in the kitchen. It was bare. The washer and dryer are locked up & not available for guest use. Plan for that. Fireplace "worked" but could barely see the flame & gave zero heat. I was harrassed to give an "accurate" quest count so the owner could charge me more for the absent "amenities" & "supplies" even after answering 3 times. After again stating the reservation was correct I was told I would be charged for every bed I touched. Be aware. This guy owns most cabins in the area
