We would thoroughly recommend Apple Tree Cottage which was beautifully prepared for us by Angela prior to our arrival. We were very impressed with the facilities and the host goes above and beyond with bread/food items which we really appreciated. The surrounding area has a lot to offer and we look forward to a return visit to enable us to see more. Thank you, Angela (and Jon for recommending Fishbourne Roman Palace and for getting the amazing hot tub ready for us).

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Every last detail was considered and it was easy to switch off and enjoy ourselves. Angela was brilliant and attentive as a host and we would recommend anyone to stay here!

Great find and wonderful location. Close to 2 train stations, walking distance to plenty of amenities. The place itself is excellent, equipped with pretty much everything you could think of - hosts cannot be faulted! Angela was there to welcome us and ran through everything. Great recommendations are provided including folders and maps so you can sit and read through everything to plan your stay. Breakfast is top notch with plenty of options to choose from. Angela has thought of everything to make sure guests are relaxed in their home away from home.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here, which says it all! Absolutely lovely place to stay, very clean, comfy and welcoming. So quiet and peaceful at night. Had some great walks with our dogs in the area and lots of dog friendly places to eat. The extra touch of breakfast and hot drinks available is fantastic. Our dogs Nellie & Ralph loved the biscuits they were left by Angela. Will definitely be making a 3rd visit!

Had a great stay here, clean and comfortable, warm croissants and plenty of breakfast items provided every day! Hot tub was an added bonus. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome from arrival. Would definitely stay again.
