We enjoyed our stay at Bruce’s beautiful home. It was very clean and comfortable. The view was second to none! Our only concern was the walk to the dock. We all over 65 so it was a bit of an issue. We had a lovely and peaceful visit! Many thanks to Bruce for being so accommodating!

House is exactly as described and shown in photos. Beautiful views of Lake James and plenty of hiking options nearby. Highly recommend staying here!

The house is beautiful with nice amenities and the lake view with mountains is amazing. We enjoyed the view with coffee in the morning and sunset with wine in the evening. The kitchen is well furnished to allow for cooking in or heating leftovers. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood trails and hiked in nearby Lake James State Park, which was very nice with great trails. We love the town of Black Moutain, which was only 30 minutes away - an easy afternoon get away for shopping the town and restaurants. All was very dog friendly and our fur baby enjoyed the stay as much as we did.

If you are looking for spectacular views this is the spot for you! The views of the lake and the mountains sitting on the deck enjoying our morning coffee and our evening glass of wine made the trip worth it. The spacious home made our time with our family including 3 grandchildren relaxing and fun. We enjoyed the dock, bringing our fishing boat we were able to use the slip for the duration plus we rented a pontoon boat from a local marina. The trip to the dock and back to the house made you glad you were in shape - lots of steps. The trek to the water/dock was a bit more challenging for my husband who is an active 81 year old plus having a 8 month old, 2 & 4 year old grandchildren made it a bit more difficult to go to the lake as much as we would have liked due to the stairs down and up. I would recommend the home and appreciate Bruce for all the quick responses.
