We four girlfriends shared this beautiful farmhouse. Two of us own farmhouses and we all live in a rural area, so this definitely felt like home away from home. Debra's description was exact. We did not have a chance to meet Debra, but she made sure we knew how to enter the home and wanted us to feel comfortable.... and she did ! There is a well equipped kitchen; plenty of matching dinnerware, glasses, all variations of cookware and utensils. The bathrooms are very clean with plenty of towels. The beds are comfortable. This location is 15-20 minutes from Abingdon, our destination for shops and the Barter Theater. Debra's ancestral home is one you should not overlook. Whether it be a friends getaway or a family gathering, this is truly a lovely home and a great find !

We stayed at this home for a family reunion held in Damascus. The home is wonderful! So cozy and comfortable. The front porch is dreamy - lots of chairs and a great swing to enjoy the mild weather during our visit. The kitchen was extremely clean and well equipped. The bedrooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable. This is a gem if you're looking for a quiet place to feel transported to rural mountain town living. The host was very responsive and helpful. Loved it and will we could go back again soon! It turned out that my mom came as a kid to purchase eggs and buttermilk from the owners of this home - the hosts ancestors. Such a neat connection to hear about!

Our family had the best time at this lovely farmhouse! The indoor AND outdoor spaces were fun, clean, and spacious. We’d definitely come back!

Fun home, great country location, but still close to restaurants and grocery store. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This house is such an awesome place. Could not be more picturesque! The house has everything you need and Debra was a great host, great communication from start to finish. Highly recommend!
