We had a lovely stay at Margerita's villa - such a beautiful and peaceful setting. We loved sitting on the terrace enjoying the views of the sea and countryside surrounding the villa. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. We enjoyed the pool even if it was, naturally, a little chilly in late October! But it's a good size and in a lovely spot. All communication with our host was very friendly, helpful and quick and we loved exploring the beaches and nearby Cefalu. Highly recommend a trip to Sicily in October - and a stay at Margerita!

A characterful villa in an olive grove with stunning views of sea and mountains. That said the location comes with a price: it's atop a twisty steep track and you'll need a decent car. If you want peace and quiet this is a great choice.

Very nice house and pool! The only thing we missed was some outdoor lights for the dinners, we had to use candles as there were nothing else outside. Overall, a very nice stay!

El enclave es único y singular. Se está cerca de la civilización, pero en un silencio total y en medio de la naturaleza, en un olivar muy bonito. Margarita estuvo muy pendiente de nuestra llegada y, pese a que el avión se retrasó, y llegamos a la una de la madrugada, nos estuvo esperando y nos había dejado preparado un pequeño aperitivo. En el lado de la mejora, diría que la caldera del agua caliente saltaba demasiado y a veces era imposible recuperar el agua caliente durante horas, que los caminos dentro de la finca deberían pavimentarse para facilitar la circulación del coche y que habría que iluminar mejor la cocina. En todo caso, el global compensó con creces estas pequeñas molestias. Una auténtica experiencia que repetiría.

We had a wonderful two weeks here. Loved the house - very private and relaxing with a great flow from inside the house to the covered terrace. We spent most of our time on the terrace, eating, playing board games (bring your own), reading and napping. Beds were very comfortable and the nights were really manageable thanks to the air conditioning. Tap water wasn't great so we used bottled water for drinking and tea-making. House has a fantastic 180 degree view from the sea to the mountains of the Madonie national park, and is up on a ridge so gets a lovely cooling breeze even on the hottest days. Pool was crystal clean and private (we had to play lifeguard to some of the local skinks who decided that they fancied a swim!). Lovely region to explore. We spent a lot of time in Cefalu after we discovered the secret of getting down there early (8-9am) for a coffee and a swim before the crowds arrived. Overall, a great house in a lovely location and Margaret was the perfect host.
