The lodge was beautiful with glass doors and serenic surroundings. Very quiet and you could see kangaroos and bunnies in the area. Would surely recommend the place to others.

Oh, the serenity! The wide open plains and distant vineyards and the white sheep dotted along the fields. Deeply peaceful. The Glass walled Studio was pristine clean and unique and very beautiful. And the salt water swimming pool was a lovely extra joy. Would highly recommend!!

Very nice spot for some peace and quiet. It was so serene you could only hear the moos of cows many kilometres away. It was sweltering hot the day we visited, so the pool was an excellent amenity. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is a good size. Loved that there were plenty of spots in the outdoor communal areas where you could sit and enjoy the views. Not a complaint, but do be aware you're deep in nature. Many, many bugs will find their way inside, especially at night. The host graciously stocks spray in the kitchen but if you are uncomfortable or have a fear of insects, you might struggle here.

I would absolutely recommend Owl head lodge to anyone interested in staying close to Mudgee. It’s located just outside of the town of gulgong. Which is an absolutely beautiful little place with nice people, heritage listed buildings everywhere and a really interesting history. I did a wine tour and the guide was more than happy to pick me up from my accommodation which is very secluded and off the grid. The wifi and Netflix certainly helped in the evenings when I just wanted to wind down and have a quiet one. I will definitely be back.

Owl head lodge was absolutely beautiful so relaxing peaceful gorgeous surroundings stunning mountain views We didn’t want to leave but will definitely be back Loved it Gulgong and Mudgee are beautiful places
