Thomas and Lori were great hosts. Very helpful with recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Mountain Adventure Basecamp is a must stay for anyone looking for a great, mountain getaway!

Absolutely can’t go wrong here. Incredibly nice and friendly hosts who couldn’t seem to do enough to be sure I was comfortable. Spotlessly clean and adorable space, comfortable layout, and nice touches like helpful printed instructions for various amenities arranged throughout. Peaceful and private on a pretty little lot that feels like you are out in the woods even though you are actually super close to downtown Idaho Springs (2-3 min?). Nice kitchen amenities and surprise bonus of water in the fridge and an assortment of coffees, teas, and cocoas to enjoy. Plus, they are part of a rescue organization for cattle dogs and happened to have an adorable little rescue pup on hand the day I was visiting. You can never go wrong with a puppy fix (and super nice people).

This was exactly what we needed. Such a cute space, and Tom is accommodating. We will be going back next time we have a trip planned in Idaho Springs!
