Loved it! Even better than the photos. Extremely clean + renovated interiror. Very cool. Great ottention to detail, decor, & function. As a home, it has more amenities than most rentals. Very comfy w/ stocked kitchen. Host is super friendly & helpful. Other reviews mention onsite paperwork, but we provided info beforehand no problem & no paperwork. Self-check-in offered when we suggested it would work better for us. Proactive tips for the area & left eclipse glasses for us! We worried about kids touching the decorations - the onsite booklet voiced concern about moving and breaking items - but this was not a problem for us. Our kids (5&9) loved the fun decor, toys, books, bunk beds, & the gorgeous setting. Treehouse was a challenge for them, and we didn't use the paddle boat (didn't want to disturb the lovely nesting Egyptian geese!), but there was *plenty* for everyone to have fun and relax (porches, comfy couch, smart TV, sitting chairs, etc). We wish we could've stay longer!

We visited with friends over spring break and had a great time! Very nice home that was spacious for multiple families. The kids had a great time playing outside the entire time. Would highly recommend the stay!

The Pond House is a great getaway for a family with kids. We had our extended family there during the stay and there was plenty of sleeping space and hangout space for everyone. The location is really like its in the trees and the pond is super fun to fish. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. All the appliances worked very well. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were nicely set up. The only negative I would say is that the host Bonnie required too many up-front forms and information. We had to fill out a list of names and ages of all the guests ahead of time, including which car we were bringing, make and model. I emailed the forms twice and she was unable to read them in her email, so she contacted Airbnb and I got a nasty gram from then saying I was unresponsive and my reservation might be cancelled. It stressed me out. Bonnie was on site almost the entire weekend in a camper, though she did not bother us, I felt like we were being watched.
