Our house is a 100-year-old Queenslander. We are offering main home upstairs 3 beds (bookings above 6 max of 8 please indicate for supply of linen to fold out bed) . PLEASE ENSURE ONLY THE NUMBER OF GUESTS BOOKED ARE STAYING AT THE PROPERTY. we also ask guests to minimise noise/ foot noise above the unit. These are two specific house rules you agree to when booking. Staying with kids refer to house rules. Note: Rented unit downstairs, does not impact on the privacy of the main house. The house has charm of yesteryear. We offer the home to those wanting a nice spacious comfy home to stay. It is an older home so if you book please then don't judge in your feedback. Parts have been renovated but retain the charm of yesteryear. There is a lot of space and we keep this at a budget price. The house is for 6 guests, a fold-out sofa bed can be provided for additional 2 guests at a small extra fee. If booking above 6 please indicate this on your booking so linen can be provided max 8 guests if negotiated and fee paid. If booking for children please negotiate with us and note need to minimise noise if guest downstairs. Lovely deck so you can enjoy the outdoors on the upper level. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RAISE the deck blinds these are provided for privacy and we dont want any damage to the blinds. We have fixed them in place to prevent any movement to minimise damage. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, airconditioned dining area that covers living space and fans in the living room. Downstairs alfresco area and spa to make the evenings relaxing. The downstairs has a laundry with shower and toilet recently renovated. If using beach towels please make sure these are left to dry out. Very comfy home away from home. For the family or those travelling with a number of friends/family, this is a great house that is in a good location. Walking distance to liquorland, vets, medical centre. Close to the university, hospital, riverway and cannon park cinema and restaurants. In order for us to continue to offer this to others who need affordable accommodation, we ask you to please ensure you read the house rules. We also respectfully ask that you please treat our home with care, she is a bit of an antique. Also your assistance in minimising power usage such as not leaving air conditioners and other electrical items on when not in use would be appreciated. We hope you enjoy your stay in this Queenslander and you recommend our home to others coming to Townsville. Please note: STRICTLY No pets. There is only access to alfresco area, no backyard. Please leave the house in the same state you find it. The outdoor areas can get a bit dusty due to dry windy weather in Townsville. Also gekos and green frogs that can leave dropping which is a part of living in the tropics, these can appear quickly even after cleaning. The unit downstairs is available on Airbnb as separate rental additional for 2 people, 1 queen and 1 single for those with a larger party check if this is available too. Thank you Corianne and Scott
