this place was soul nourishing. i made some lifelong friends here. this place, the people, the landscape, diesel the sweet doggy, all of it will forever hold a special place in my heart and I am incredibly grateful for the experience. i came here to spend time in nature while finishing a course in nature related therapy, and it was exactly what i needed. there were a few mishaps, but david and the team were able to accommodate. the wwoof crew and their dedication to this lovely place was incredibly inspiring. thank you all, so so much.

The writers cabin, at David's ''Yellow Bird'' was a beautiful menagerie of peace, calming energy as well as an escape from modern life that is/was well needed in this newer world we find ourselves in. As I remarked with the host himself upon meeting, I'm paraphrasing myself: "This place is beautiful. I'm not sure there's many others like it left", and on this, I believe the host and I were in ample agreement. the land itself is beautiful, with a calm and happy energy that is hard to match. I was met with great consideration, as well as kindness and the best setting I could have imagined for an escape from my modern life and troubles. the cabin is relaxing and feels great to be in, I had no complaints about it whatsoever. it is very well built and sturdy as well as enjoyable to be in, and the price of the Airbnb is incredibly fair as well as understanding. I am very happy to have experienced visiting yellow bird, and if I find myself in TN again I am happy to return one day.

This met my specifications exactly. I had an extremely productive solo writer's retreat. Will likely come back in the future.

Peacful, nice stay! Was there for Bonnaroo, so really only used the cabin at night. Was hard to find initially since I arrived so late. However, in daylight, it’s much easier. Quiet place!
