Very friendly staff and people, the highlight of the place. The location is good, near the quaint town of San Juan. There is a view of the Lake from the common area which looks beautiful However, it is quite different from the description and the photos provided - 1. You can not go into the lake, the ferry does not stop near the place and you have to go to the main ferry point in contrast to what is indicated 2. The beds in the dorm are now bunk beds which means there are much more people in one dorm 3. The water comes and goes off and on and this is common, everyday occurrence 4. Be prepared for mosquitoes and bugs due to the greenery around 5. Washrooms are not very clean Pros 1. Good price 2. Nice common area and kitchen where you can cook 3. Very friendly atmosphere and nice backpackers during my time 4. you can sign up for local activities with the host Message for the host- A little bit of attention and improvements, good level of hygiene can really make the place amazing and you can charge a bit more to maintain it better. Plus give a realistic description and photos which is not the case right now.

A beautiful hidden gem located on a farm just ten minutes walk away from the centre of San Pedro. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming and have the best tips and advice for San Juan. I only stayed for one night, but I can't wait to come again soon!

El lugar es muy especial, un lugar creado para la comunidad que se abre a nosotros los viajeros. Marcos y Erwin hacen todo lo posible por que tu estadía sea de lo más cómoda. Marcos fue un excelente guía al Rostro Maya y Erwin me dio una interesante explicación del proyecto en el que están. Espero volver algún día. Gracias de nuevo chicos🙏

The Hub is a wonderful place to stay in San Juan. I stayed for five days and was sad to leave. Erwin and Marcos are knowledgeable and kind people and I learned a lot from them. The place is comfortable and I was able to work online. The view never gets old. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
