We had the most wonderful stay with Debora and her assistant Gaetano in Gratteri. Debora’s home is immaculately clean and impeccably decorated. We had breakfast for three days which was beautiful and featured freshly picked figs and eggs from Gaetano’s home. Our cooking class was also an exceptional experience for our group with a delicious Sicilian meal and free-flowing wine. Debora truly goes above and beyond to provide five-star service to her guests. Debora and the neighbors of Gratteri made us feel like family and we hope to return in the future. Brava Debora!

We had a picture perfect stay here during our time in Gratteri! The home is authentic and beautifully situated with access to the private spa, as well as all of the luxuries of a full service staff that made us feel like family. Breakfast is provided and you have the option to request dinner preparations for an additional fee. We had dinner prepared on our first night and it was one of the best meals of our trip, highly recommended! The town is situated in a picturesque location with nearby hiking and is within easy driving distance to a number of other small towns, as well as Cefalu on the coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Gratteri and much of that was due to the incredible service of Deborah and her staff.

The place is really quiet and a nice getaway from the city. It’s a bit hard to find and we got lost on the way and our car got stuck in some narrow road, but Debora was very nice and sent her staff to come look for us immediately. It’s not a modern bnb but it’s very stylish. We were a bit concerned that the rooms were not equipped with AC, but the temperature drops at night and it was really nice. Debora was kind enough to fetch us some fans in the room so we could use it during our stay! The only disappointment we have would be we thought we could use the jacuzzi as mentioned in the listing, but the staff told us we could only use it if we stay there for more than a few nights. But the kids had some fun in the tube at the end!

Amazing stay at Grattery! The location is breathtaking, surrounded by the beautiful mountains. The dinner and breakfast was an ultimate Sicilian experience. The host was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
