The accommodation is comfortable, the vista just outstanding and the local people providing services helpful and kind. I am especially grateful to Barnabas for showing me around the village, taking me to a hill with spiritual significance, and taking me to this spectacular series of waterfalls. I just loved hearing his experience and many insights. The cost of the accomodation is modest and meals are delicious and also modestly priced. Highly recommended for solo travelers, families and groups.

Amazing views from the balcony/breakfast table!! Good lunch and dinner are served for a fair price, with a lot of vegetables and fruit from their own garden. Everything was clean and a comfortable bed. Barnabas guided us around 3 times for a very fair price: to his waterfall; in his garden with bananaplants, coffee plants and much more; to the nearby viewpoint and church. We were in good hands with Barnabas and his staff!

Es war richtig schön bei Barnabas. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Barnabas hat uns den Wasserfall, den Fluss und sein Bauernhof gezeigt. Das Essen war köstlich und alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

the place was really a Paradise. i came from Oloitokitok to renew my visa and already the way from the Border to Marangu and then to Kilema is amazing. around the place its so Green and peaceful. you can swim in waterfalls, check the viewpoint or Just Walk around in Peace. Everyone at the House is so nice and helpful. the food is so amazing and Most of the fresh Things are from the own Garden. breakfast is included in the price. Lunch in dinner is obviously for expensive than outside but totally worth it. the View from the balcony is amazing and also the room itself is very nice. although you are only there to sleep anyway. the mosque woke me Up from time to time but the rest of the night you only have Peace. No disturbing light at all. when i have to renew my Visa the next time, i'll Most probably be Back.

Kilema Paradise is Eden the beauty is breathtaking! Barnabas the owner and Gabriel and Mary are 3 of the kindest sweetest people you can ever meet. They go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. The rooms are spacious and spic and span, The food served is bountiful and delicious most of it coming from the farm so fresh banana trees, avocado trees mango trees, papaya trees passion fruit trees, abound as well as a variety of other vegetables, with nature hikes and solitude and a view that is spiritual this is one of Tanzania's but kept secrets but I don't think for long. I will vist evey year, I highly recommend if solitude, peace and tranquility and a Zen like environment is what you are looking for.
