This was a wonderful, hidden gem!. Extremely neat and tidy. With a full service kitchen, the location was lovely, within walking distance of lake Dunmore!

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet peaceful surroundings of this cute cottage where my partner and I stayed with our 2 dogs. Jeff was a kind and excellent host, always responding quickly to our comments or questions. The property is less than 20 minutes from Middlebury College which was perfect for us. We enjoyed the many hiking trails nearby and screened in porch. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies which was great since I love to cook. We had a longer term stay (almost 3 weeks) and would definitely come back. I was actually sad when we left :).

Great stay at the lake! Nicely updated camp on Lake Dunmore. Close to Foley’s brewery and several restaurants in Brandon (within 15 minutes by car), hiking trail to Silver Lake, and 25 steps to the lake. Fully stocked kitchen, grill, relaxing and eating out in the screened in porch, and Wi-Fi (good enough to put a days work in) made it feel like home away from home for a few days. The host, Jeff, was very responsive to any questions.

The place was super clean and had all the amenities you could think of. It’s also a major bonus that there is heating and AC as this is not available in a lot of other houses around the lake. The location near the lake is also pretty ideal. You get the morning sun, are in a cove, and the water isn’t super deep. So, you get calm water shielded from northern winds which is ideal for swimming, kayaking, etc. Jeff was also very responsive and proactive about giving instructions and checking if I had any issues or needed anything.
