Nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain, Lena Cabin offers a private hot tub, furnished back deck, covered front deck with a charcoal grill, and a private fire pit. It accommodates 6 guests and has a main bedroom, a sleeping loft and built-in bunk beds. Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area. Named after Frank & Nickel’s daughter, Lena Cabin is equipped with everything you could ever need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga. Lena is one of our bunk bed cabins, perfect for families. During your stay, you’ll enjoy a private hot tub, furnished back deck, fire pit, covered front porch with charcoal grill, and an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature. Lena can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests between the main bedroom, built in bunk beds, and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, and more. Starting from the back, you’ll find the fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees, there awaits a space of pure relaxation, your private hot tub, with easy access to the main bedroom. Just beside the cabin is the shared fire pit and pavilion, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property. Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom are the built in bunk beds across from the full bathroom with bathtub. A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa. Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up. The cabin’s covered front porch with dining set is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee, or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill (guests must provide their own charcoal). We are pleased to allow dogs at Lena Cabin, under specific terms and conditions. See our house rules/notes for more information. Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. Pack ‘n Play Travel cribs are available upon request.
