The cottage was just as described on the listing and the pictures very accurate. The cottage is a lovely away from home destination. Barbara and her husband are beyond helpful - communication was excellent and they are super responsive to any questions you may have. Peaceful location with lots of open countryside surrounding you. Cottage was cosy and well maintained - spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could ever need.

The cottage is handily placed just a few minutes walk to a train station which took us into Liverpool with ease. The cottage is very pretty and overlooks a field at the rear. A lovely bistro pub/restaurant close by. Walking distance to the River Weaver for further walks. Barbara is proactive in communication. Overall a lovely stay.

Beautifully restored Victorian cottage. Well furnished, very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and all in working order. Lovely views outside - landscaped gardens and an orchard with tables and benches to enjoy the picturesque countryside and watch the horses in the adjacent field. Barbara was very responsive and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. The location also worked very well for us especially given the fact that we were without a car. There's bus service, a train station and a really great pub all very close by. We would highly recommend this property for short- or long-term stays. In fact, we've rented it twice already because we enjoyed it so much!
