Perfect for a quiet short stay away.

The cottage itself is beautiful. The extras like the coffee machine and the hot tub are perfect. Bit tricky to get the fire right on the hot tub and took a few hours, but once it warmed up my older children loved it. One thing I would mention is the garden is not dog friendly, as my usually well behaved dog bolted through a gap towards the river. One thing I was not expecting was a Shepherds Hut in one part of the garden where other people were staying. This part of the garden is also not dog friendly as my dog went round the back of the shepherds hut and ended up in their garden. We ended up keeping him on the lead for the rest of the time we were there as we didn’t want to risk him going wondering again. The cottage is listed as being dog friendly, but on the advert there was no section mentioning they were not allowed on the furniture. So please bear this in mind if you are bringing your furry family member. We had no issues with the road used for access at all.

Loved this quaint cottage . Loads of character . Loved the log burner and the hot tub . Frank ( the dog) loved the garden and the walks . Perfect stay before our dream life x

Perfect place to stay and a unique location, a good getaway from it all. House was ideal for us a party of 3 people. Barbara was great with communication and very helpful.

We enjoyed our time so much we requested to stay an extra night! The location is ideally suited to visit Liverpool and Manchester and all around- it was so cosy, quiet and homely.
