My boyfriend, dog, and I had a lovely time at Michael's place! Beautiful cabin in the woods, very walkable. So many amazing trails and we never saw another soul on them! (exactly what we were going for!! :) ) Our pup had a great time exploring and we had a great time relaxing on that beautiful porch. There was a Keurig with regular and decaf coffee provided, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The grill was GREAT, too!!! One piece of advice - if anyone out there uses Waze, don't put in the exact address, just put in the name of the road then follow Michael's provided instructions - Waze took us to a scary/steep dirt road on the other side of the river at first. One more thing - the bathroom is accessed via the porch - not an issue, but kind of a journey if you need to go in the middle of the night. Overall, we had an amazing time. Will definitely go back when we get the chance!!

We had a fantastic time at Bear Run Camp: Michael and his family have created something very special there. The cabin was charming and rustic and had all the basics, but the real attraction was the surrounding forest, streams, hills, and fields. We’ll definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again, Michael!

We loved our stay at Bear Run camp! The views were unbeatable and we really enjoyed all the private hiking trails. The cabin was very cozy and secluded, yet it was very easy to get into the nearby town. I’d definitely love to come back again!
