This is a decent place to stay for a good price in a good location with off street parking. Note that there is a tiny fridge (in the listing) and the space is basically a nice looking motel room. This unit is on the second floor and was a walk up when I stayed (elevator was out of service). There is considerable noise from the student housing around and above this room but it quieted down after midnight. Location is directly across from Duke campus. The reason I didn’t give this room 5 stars is because the host basically used stock responses and never answered when I asked direct questions about places to eat etc. With some personalized responses, I would have given the place 5 stars because it met the description and the noise wasn’t terrible.

Taberna’s place was all of the major c’s. Clean, cozy, and convenient! I would definitely stay there again!

I had a one night stay in Durham and Taberna's place fit my needs perfectly. The studio had everything I needed and was clean. Street parking was plentiful. The location was very walkable and right next to the Duke campus. I would stay here again.

Our second time staying at the Taberna. Lots of students around this time but all were polite to us and noise was not an issue. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. Such a great location right by Duke Campus and close to DPAC. We will always look for rooms at Taberna first when we come back to Durham.
