Danny and Grace were great hosts! They were super informative and were readily available throughout the entire stay. They checked in multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything. The home exceeded our expectations. The entire space was thoroughly cleaned, the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with essentials and they went as far as providing a snack basket. We would highly recommend their home and will definitely book again if ever visiting Durham.

Danny and Gracie's place is one of the most thoughtful and well appointed Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. I originally booked a 2 night stay that turned into 4. The interior looks exactly like the photos. Open, light and bright with high ceilings, natural light, uber comfy sofa, bed and clawfoot tub. Inspired vintage style. When I drove up, I was a little surprised by the industrial location, but their bungalow is adorable with a long wood fence to screen the lot. Once inside, the space had a peaceful, homestead feel. The property backs up to the Museum of Life & Science. French doors open to a deep green lot, huge old tree, and forested land. Most days I worked with the doors open. All I heard were birds and squirrels. The hosts have literally thought of everything! Snacks, coffee/tea/creamer, butter, fast wifi, everything labeled. Easy 7-8 min drive to downtown, Brightleaf, Duke East Campus. Great communication! A+ rec for Velvet Hippo (rooftop bar). Lovely hosts. Lovely spot. 💗

Danny and Grace are such lovely hosts! We were coming in on the later side of checkin, and they even left the twinkle lights on for us. Their sweet welcome sign was a wonderful touch. Their guest house is charming and immaculate, absolutely we LOVED the king bed in the loft! Altogether a wonderful trip.

The place was wonderful. We like to retreat when we are in Durham and the mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. They had great recommendations for food. The place was so cute and I loved the stocked kitchen and the decor.

Booked as an anniversary get away for my daughter and son-in-law and they were glowing about their stay. Hosts went out of their way with some special touches to celebrate their anniversary as well as be available for any needs that might arise (none did). Great communication. Would definitely recommend.
