Booked this stay in last minute because my other stay with airbnb was cancelled last minute. Frank was super responsive from the get go, the place looks exactly the same as on the pictures/description. It's a lively place, you can see that Frank's family often use the cottage and it changes from all the other airbnbs that are just businesses. It feels really cozy and it was spacious enough that we didn't feel stuck even with the bad weather. Unfortunately the water pump malfunctioned on our second and last night which cause some issues but Frank was responsive to help us troubleshoot and even agreed to a partial refund. Would definitely recommend staying at his place !

Without a doubt, Frank's viceroy cottage is an absolute gem of an Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by its beauty and charm. Nestled amidst nature's splendor, this place offered a picturesque setting that instantly put us at ease. The three generously-sized bedrooms provided comfortable sleeping arrangements for all guests, while the fully equipped kitchen with its stainless steel stove and fridge allowed us to prepare delicious meals effortlessly. The true magic of this place was the outdoors. The cottage offers ample space for the kids to play and explore. The dock by the water's edge provided a front-row seat to the breathtaking lake view, and we spent countless hours there, basking in the tranquility of the surroundings. The opportunity to use the canoe, kayaks, and paddleboard allowed us to venture out onto the lake and explore its hidden treasures. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are immensely grateful to Frank for being a wonderful host.

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend and loved Frank’s cottage. It’s in a great location, a beautiful sun lit cottage, and the lake it sits on is gorgeous! We spent all day on the dock, enjoying the water activities Frank provides. We really liked having access to the kayaks and paddle boards, and after long days outside, we loved the cottage interiors: the living room is spacious and great for playing games, the kitchen was well stocked, and we found the bedrooms comfortable. Our one complaint is that unfortunately the grill wasn’t working for us, and more importantly, the running water stopped working on the day we checked out, leaving us unable to use the washroom, wash our hands, or clean the kitchen, and during this period of a few hours we were unable to reach Frank. Overall a lovely cottage and we’d love to stay here again, and highly recommend it to others.
