Excellent hosts! Great place to relax with entire family. Enjoyed the spaciousness, seclusion and "homey" extras! Others should be aware that if there is a lot of snow/rain, the driveway can get awfully muddy.... be careful if not with a 4WD vehicle. We were fortunate to have 4WD vehicles and LOVED the 30+ inches of new snow that fell at Wolf Creek Ski Resort during our stay! Highly recommend this rental for anyone that looks forward to relaxing in the mountains of Colorado!

Great spot , close to Pagosa and 35 min ride to the wonderful Wolfcreek, roomy and beautiful views the hot tub after skiing is a must the barbecue is a nice addition

The home had ample private sleeping arrangements for our family. There were plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. We enjoyed the location which is close to town. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor grill. The kitchen had ample plates and glasses. My husband and I enjoyed 4 mile morning walks on the tree lined mountain road this homes is situated on. The property managers were very friendly and attentive. They responded back to us quickly when we had questions. Our only concern with this house is a child safety issue with the front porch. The railing around the porch are too wide and there is a 20 foot drop on one side. A child could easily fall through. We could not enjoy the spacious front porch for this reason. The house overall lent itself to a very enjoyable family vacation.

Stay at this house if you like mouse poop in your silverware drawer. We were not told in advance that this house has a vermin problem. Or that there would be mouse snap traps, which our 4 year old promptly found in a bedroom closet, and not knowing what it was, had her thumb smashed. The house was not cleaned properly prior to our arrival -- we found mouse poop in closets, in the silverware drawer, in the utensil drawer, and in the pantry. We found hundreds, if not thousands, of mouse poops right outside the living room window, in clear view of the otherwise beautiful mountains. We found dog food in the silverware drawer. Yes, dog food. Besides the mouse snap traps, we also encountered many safety hazards on our stay: * Exposed electrical wiring where our kids were sleeping in the loft * Improperly installed curtain rods that fell on our heads when we opened them * Random nails and staples sticking out of the walls * Glass shards on the back concrete pad, near the hot tub * Months of accumulated dust underneath some furniture * Weird brown spots on the ceiling of the upstairs shower * A large siding stone that fell out of the side of the house (where our daughter was playing with chalk earlier in the day) Also, be wary of staying here in the summer when it's above 80 degrees. The upstairs bedroom has no circulation or ventilation, and even with box fans it stayed pretty hot all night. On the positive side: the hot tub was great, Pagosa Springs is cute, the beds were comfortable, and the water pressure and temperature was good in both bathrooms. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and we saw deer in the mornings. However, until this place receives a serious deep clean, extermination, and other safety hazards fixed, we can't recommend other guests stay here.

They do not have AC in the house. If you’re staying in the summer expect your room to be 80 plus, at night.
