Das Apartment ist ordentlich, schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Waschbecken im Bad ist neu. Der Blick vom Balkon ist sensationell in Richtung Westen zum Sonnenuntergang.

The place was clean and looks like the photos. But the host was not fast responding about the checkin and the automated message told us to go pick up the keys from a hotel that was closed, so we had to wait 45 minutes, making me late for my online job. After waiting with no answers we finally found a security guard that had the host’s contact number, then they sent someone to help us checkin at the place which was a drive away, and he was nice and also brought us a bag of fruits. We were told we would get a double bed but it was two singles. They brought us a heater because the aircon didn’t work well to heat up the place, so that was nice of them but it would have been better if it was there to start with as it was cold outside. We turned the heater off at night and the blankets were not so warm so even with two blankets we were cold sleeping. It seemed like they made efforts for us but it was not very well organized overall. To be fair we booked the same day but a few hours before.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Plakias. Der Weg zum Meer war nicht zu weit, jeden Tag wurde unser Appartement sauber gemacht. Es gab nur ein kleines ABER, wir hatten uns sehr auf den Meerblick gefreut und deshalb gefragt, ob wir nicht umziehen könnten in den ersten Stock (denn vom EG gab es nicht wirklich einen Blick aufs Meer). Ja kein Problem, morgen. Die Auskunft gab es dann an drei Tagen hintereinander (jedesmal haben wir unsere Sachen wieder zusammen gepackt) geklappt hat der Umzug leider nicht. Die Kommunikation lief immer über das Hotel und da schien die Absprache mit Eleni nicht gut zu klappen.

We were given a room from a way lower category than the booked one in the first night, but the hostess refuses financial reimbursement. Instead of a room as in the pictures and explicit description with seaview, balcony, modern furniture, she put us in an uncomfortable basement (Souterrain) flat at the backside of the house/turned away from ocean and garden. From the windows all we could see were walls and parked cars from below. The furniture was old, partly hanged crooked, the light was uncomfortable/harsh like in a hospital. the hostess told us it was only until "the morning", we could switch to the booked room afterwards and have breakfast. We already had other plans for breakfast,so we declined that offer and claimed financial reimbursement instead,but she refused. Also the next day in the morning we packed everything and went to the check in for the room change, but were than told we had to wait until the afternoon. Only at 16:30 o'clock we were given the booked room.
