This house is great for accommodating a larger group of people; the great room for gathering, cooking, eating, reading, crafting, gaming, puzzling, watching movies or taking a nap while soaking up sun in the afternoon was key to the success of our get together. All of the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood quiet for a good night’s sleep. The house is a 10-minute walk to the beach and we had easy access to the canal and nearby inlet for kayaking—a total bonus in December. We appreciated the large pantry, but suggest a new ventilation system for cooking, as there was no working system while we were there. Also, brighter lighting in the laundry room is needed to see the dials on the machines. All in all, these last items were of minor concern and we would recommend this house for larger families to spend time together at any time of year.

Large home with lovely indoor & outdoor spaces able to accommodate large groups but also spaces to break off into smaller groups. A very well stocked kitchen with a big pantry area so easy to do some at home meals. The outdoor spaces on the canal side were lovely & use of the kayaks an extra bonus. Emma is a very responsive host & helpful. The walk to the beach is a bit further than what I call a “run back “ house ( run back to use bathroom, get a snack) though it is an easy walk. The 3 bedrooms upstairs, where up to 10 people can sleep, only has 1 small full bath. The next closest full bathroom is down in the main level master. For our all adult group, 5 sharing a bathroom was not optimal. Have a bunch of kids up there, probably fine. Overall, the large enjoyable common spaces made for a super enjoyable stay.

Beautiful house. Everything was as described. The canal in the back was nice for kayaks and we bought crab traps which kept the kids entertained! Nicely stocked kitchen also.

Perfect family beach house location with easy access to the bay and beach! Had everything we needed
