Wonderful lake house perfect for a peaceful trip with loved ones!
We stayed at Ellen's cottage for a home base while visiting our son in college. Beautiful property to return to at the end of the day in Sault Ste. Marie (approx. 40 min away). Water was crystal clear down at their beach. We really enjoyed the enclose front porch/sunroom every morning, overlooking the yard and waterfront. The house was clean and well equipped. The sheets, linens, towels provided were a great convenience for us as travelers, not having to pack our own. Highly recommended. Thank-you!
Beautiful place to stay. The cottage is clean and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfy. Lots of fun to be had in the basement playing pool, ping-pong and other games. Great location to watch the sunset over a campfire. Loved the fact that there were kayaks to use. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
Ellen & B.J have thought of every detail. The location is beautiful, beach is amazing, and waterfront is perfect. Sunsets were gorgeous, stars were amazing. They have board games, ping pong, movies, pool for indoor activities in case the weather isn’t the best. We all agreed that we loved the sun room. The provided kayaks were so much fun, we got everyone in the family involved and paddling around. We were so happy to bring our two dogs as well. The place is spotless, so clean! Beautifully decorated and so practical. We had beautiful weather and couldn’t have had a better time. We will be back next year for even longer! Thank you Ellen & B.J!
We appreciated all the lovely touches and considerations Ellen and BJ brought to there home it was inviting , very clean,spacious , accommodating and fun . The sunsets were beautiful the yard was big enough for us to play croquet, bocce ball and badminton . It was a nice private quite area lots of parking space as we had three vehicles . We loved the cute out house , evening bonfire and early morning and evening kayak stroll along the shore line . I already have been raving to others of our stay I definitely recommend this gem of a place. Thanks again for making our stay memorable .
