One of the top 2 Airbnb's that we've had! We loved the apartment and the walkable area too. While the apartment itself doesn't have a view (bonus tip below on this), the area itself is so beautiful, and is right across from a park on the river. I saw a bald eagle there really close up. We walked to pubs, battery park, and a few shops. It was really nice, and fun to walk the streets and look at the houses from mostly the 1700's. It was a super quiet area at night and we slept well there. The apartment itself had an attic feel with the dormer windows, but was decorated really cool and had everything that we needed. The bed and couches were super comfy. I used the desk to work, and the laundry facilities were really handy. The internet worked great, and we are both IT professionals so we used it a lot for work while we were there. Please note that the apartment is up stairs which wasn't a problem for us at all, but might be for others. The kitchen was well stocked with a big fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven/stove, microwave, and every kitchen utensil or pan you will need. There was a coffee grinder which I appreciated! Bring your own salt/pepper and coffee though. I believe due to covid, they aren't allowed to have any food items. There were two tv's which we used to cast our ipads to, and that worked just fine. There's apple tv. We didn't watch cable or other channels though. We travel to Delaware from Oregon annually to visit family and Michael's place was perfect. In fact we will definitely stay here again next year if we can. We found New Castle to be a good jumping off point to visit all of the areas we needed. **bonus tip** in the morning only, if you open the window next to the desk all of the way, you will see a "river view" in the reflection of the window. So cool! LOL

Being able to stay at Michael's place was a wonderful experience. The space is stunning, beautiful, and comfortable. The location is amazing for so many reasons. The neighborhood is so extremely peaceful and historical, has two awesome restaurants and is right on the water with great bike paths...it is truly special. We highly recommend this gem!
