A perfect Mini Apartment for a longer stay, a nice kitchen and bathroom. I felt at home in just a few days. Tahira is a nice and welcoming woman,who answers all questions in an instant.

Folks in the house were generally very kind and friendly. The living space was clean and organized when I got there, with all appliances working. Several times sporadically throughout my stay, however, I woke up in the middle of the night covered in sweat. On the final week of my stay, the AC went out completely (middle of July in the hot and humid Maryland summer, mind you) and this was not addressed for 3 days, leaving me no choice but to cancel my stay early and get a hotel for my last few days so that I could sleep. I was never offered any accommodation for this and one of the tenants in the house went so far as to try and convince me to “sleep unclothed and without bedsheets” until AC could be repaired. Also, the two carbon monoxide/smoke detectors in the living space are disconnected because they are supposedly triggered by footsteps of people walking on the floor above. This is an obvious safety hazard that no attention was given to, even when I mentioned it to the host.

Came for a conference, was a perfect spot and I was able to walk through the park not far away. Also very close to the bus line. I called when I arrived by the phone number linked to the listing was for a family member and not the host. After sorting out those issues the host was very kind.

I would definitely want to stay here again. The location is convenient and safe. It's also a nice neighborhood for taking walks. The apartment is very homey and comfortable and pretty. The photos don't do it justice. It is spacious and has a lot of thoughtful details in the way it is furnished and decorated. It has plenty of natural light, and you will have access to the backyard, which has a lot of beautiful trees. Tahira is a great host and a kind person, and she is available via phone and text if you need anything. As a single traveler, I also appreciated knowing that Tahira was upstairs in the house, and there is also another tenant who has a completely separate entrance.
