This was a wonderful experience, close to everything we wanted, a bright beautiful home with a pool and close to a small secluded beach. We would love to stay again.
The location of the house is perfect! We were within walking distance to everything we needed or wanted to do!
The house met our needs and we enjoyed our stay very much. We enjoyed the pool and the kids had fun with the foosball table. The inside of the home was very pretty. Really nice kitchen! King beds were very comfy and very nice linens. The bathrooms were spotless but the upstairs shower/tub was apparently not installed properly as it made a terrible noise when walking in it. Overall it was a great place to spend a week with family close to beautiful Lake Michigan.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location. Being able to walk two houses down to the private beach was amazing. We caught the sunset every night! It is quite rocky, so the kids definitely needed swim shoes. We explored downtown and the public beach as well and everything was easy to get to! The house had a great layout and we loved the large, open family space, screened in porch and patio and of course, the pool! They were very responsive and customer service oriented. We had an issue at the beginning of our stay and they were over that afternoon and the next day to rectify the issue. They were polite, friendly and wonderful to work with! We would love to come back, but the property could use some easy updates to maximize the experience. A deep clean, fresh paint, new towels, bath mats and new springs on the screen doors. Thanks for a memorable week and great stay!
We had a great stay at Mack's. The location and amenities were great - a small quiet beach in walking distance, private pool, lots of space, nearby restaurants and shops - all amazing! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful with anything we needed. There were a few drawbacks of the house. The couches are really well loved and could use replacing - it was tough to ever get comfortable. The house itself is also pretty well loved and could have used a more thorough cleaning. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.
